Grilled Pork Tenderloin

2.5 lbpork tenderloin, trimmed
1 tbsponion powder
2 tspgarlic powder
1 tbspkosher salt
1 tspchili powder
1 tbsppepper
1/4 cupapple juice


  1. Mix together spices. Rub spice mixture all over tenderloin. Pour apple juice over tenderloin. Rub in so the apple juice wets the dry spices thoroughly, add more apple juice if needed.
  2. Marinate tenderloin for a minimum for four hours, keep refrigerated.
  3. Heat grill to high. Place tenderloin on the hottest part of the grill. Cook turning occasionally, until well browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  4. Reduce temperature to low and cover with grill lid. Continued to cook pork covered, until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center registers 145ยบ, turning occasionally.


Made with 1.5 lb tenderloin. Halved the spices but still used 1/4 cup apple juice.

Can reduce salt more.
