Wine Cake

1 boxyellow cake mix (18.5 oz)
1 pkginstant vanilla pudding (3.75 oz)
3/4 cupdry or cream sherry
1/4 cupcooking oil
4 lgeggs
1 tspnutmeg
confectioners sugar


  1. Combine cake mix, pudding oil, sherry, eggs and nutmeg in large bowl
  2. Beat 5 minutes at medium speed
  3. Grease and flour a 10" tube pan (angel food cake pan). Pour in batter.
  4. Bake in 350 degree preheated oven for 1 hour
  5. Cool for 5 minutes in pan on wire rack. Turn onto rack and finish cooling.
  6. Prior to serving, sprinkle with sifted confectioner's sugar.
