Buttermilk Ranch Cheeseball

Ingredients

1 tbspsour cream
1 pkgHidden Valley Ranch Dressing Packet
8 ozlow fat cream cheese
1/2 lbcheddar cheese
1/4 cuppecans, finely chopped

Steps

  1. Mix the sour cream with ranch dressing mix in a bowl until smoothly combined.
  2. Add the cream cheese and Cheddar cheese to the bowl, and mix together with your hands until thoroughly blended.
  3. Place mixture in plastic wrap and chill for at least five minutes. Remove from refrigerator and shape into a ball.
  4. Place the pecans into a shallow bowl, and roll all sides of the cheese ball in the pecans to coat. Return to refrigerator until ready to serve.

Note

Recommend making this 24-48 hours in advance to allow flavors to better meld. Can be served immediately however.
